net-o-logy employee musical for the company's 20th anniversary at NOSPR

For approximately six months, employees who were not professional performers prepared their own stage production. The finale was an original musical performed during the company's 20th anniversary gala at NOSPR in Katowice.

CHALLENGE

How do you create a musical with people who are not actors?

The participants were not professional actors, dancers or singers. Our task was to build a process that allowed them to enter stage roles safely, learn movement, choreography and vocal work while preserving their natural personalities.

The final performance also carried the scale of a major company anniversary on the stage of NOSPR in Katowice. The goal was not a corporate sketch, but a fully developed production with net-o-logy employees as its protagonists.

IDEA

Not a performance for employees. A performance by employees.

The anniversary could have followed the classic formula of a gala with a ready-made artistic programme. Instead, the employees themselves became the performers.

That made the months leading up to the premiere just as important as the anniversary evening itself.

OUR RESPONSE

From the first rehearsal to the premiere.

The process was spread across approximately six months, allowing participants to gradually develop acting, movement, dance and vocal skills.

The script, dramaturgy, choreography and directing approach were created around this particular group rather than imposing a format designed for professional performers.

PROCESS

Six months of building one performance.

The most important work happened before the gala. Rehearsal by rehearsal, participants moved from their first steps on stage to performing a complete production together.

Concept and dramaturgy

We created an original artistic concept in which employees would not be an addition to the programme, but its main performers.

Workshops and regular rehearsals

For approximately six months we worked on acting, movement, dance and vocal preparation.

Building the musical

Scenes, choreography, movement, vocals and the visual layer were gradually combined into one production.

NOSPR and the premiere

The final stage included technical and dress rehearsals before transferring months of work onto the NOSPR stage in Katowice.

RESULT

Months of work. One evening.

The process culminated in an original musical performed by net-o-logy employees during the company's 20th anniversary gala at NOSPR.

According to the client's feedback, the performance received a standing ovation. An independent review rated the cooperation with MOVYTZA 5/5 for quality, schedule, cost and willingness to recommend.
